The greatness of Silk
Silk is glossy and lustrous. The fiber is strong and elastic regarding its fineness. Silk is fairly resistant to crumple, and is comfortable to wear as it is absorbent and dries fast. Silk is natural protein fiber produced by several insects, but generally only the silk of moth caterpillars has been used for textile. We use Mulberry silk. It comes from silk worms who live in mulberry trees, Mulberry leaves are the only leaves that these silkworms will eat. Silk is always an organic product. Since silkworms are very chemically-sensitive, mulberry trees are never sprayed.
